Moloka'i

A beautifully written novel about the leper colonies in Hawaii. If you love historical fiction books, I would highly recommend this book. The book really makes you appreciate what and who you have in your life.

Room by Emma Donoghue

Very light but enjoyable read. Different than anything I have read before! Written from the perspective of a 5 year old and done beautifully so. Great story that would be well understood by mothers. Recommended!

Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah

I know that some of you have already read this book and loved it. If you have not, I think you definitely should. I enjoyed not only the Russian history in the book but also the varying perspectives of each of the characters. These characters immerse you into a world that I never encountered but found truly realistic. My favorite part of the book is it's message-love is ever-changing and gets us through challenging and stressful times. Enjoy!
